Submit your Mac app
Get your Mac app listed in the MacTools directory for free. Just add a MacTools badge to your website and submit your app.
1. Add a MacTools badge
Add either badge to your app's homepage. Link the badge to MacTools so visitors can discover more Mac apps.
Dark badge
Light badge
Add the badge directly to your homepage HTML, or use the HTML snippet in your website builder.
2. Verify your badge
Enter your public homepage URL. We'll check that one of the official badges is present.
3. Submit your app
Once your badge is verified, continue to the submission form to provide your app details.
Submission requirements
All apps are manually reviewed before being added to the directory. To qualify, your app must meet these requirements:

A functioning Mac app
Your app must be available to use or download and work on macOS. Unreleased apps are not eligible.

Not an information product
Ebooks, courses, newsletters, communities, and other products primarily offering information are not eligible.

Relevant to Mac users
Your app must run on macOS or provide a meaningful Mac-specific utility. Websites without an actual Mac app are not eligible.

A legitimate app website
Your website must clearly explain what the app does and provide a way to download, purchase, or access it.
Meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance. MacTools reviews every submission before publication.
