Deskworthy

Deskworthy is a family of small, careful Mac apps, and each one does a single job. There are apps for mapping disk space, keeping your Mac tidy, taking and hiding things in screenshots, shrinking images, keeping your clipboard history, and watching what your Mac is doing. None of the apps need an account, none send your files anywhere, and none use analytics. You can buy just the app you need, or get all of them with All Apps.

Key Features

  • DiskAtlas: A disk space analyzer that shows where your space went in one picture, finds identical files, and lets you review everything before it moves to the Trash.
  • Kempt: A Mac maintenance app that shows what is safe to clear, what your apps really cost, and what leftovers deleted apps left behind.
  • Snipkeep: A screenshot tool. Press a key, select part of the screen, mark it up, and put it where it needs to go.
  • VeilShot: A screenshot editor that hides emails, faces, and other identifiers, then frames the screenshot so it looks presentable.
  • Squish: An image compressor that prepares small, correctly sized images, keeps your originals untouched, and can strip metadata from the new copies.
  • CopyHold: A clipboard manager that keeps everything you copy and lets you find it in a keystroke.
  • Telltale: A system monitor that shows what your Mac and every app on it are doing, now and over the last 30 days.
  • Private by Design: Every app lists the servers it can contact in a Network panel, has an Offline switch, and has no analytics. Your files are never uploaded.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is Deskworthy free?

Deskworthy is paid, with a free way to try each app. Most apps have a 7-day free trial with everything included. For DiskAtlas and Kempt, scanning is always free, and cleaning needs a license. The Deskworthy app that installs and updates the others is free.

How much do the apps cost?

You can buy a single app once from $5, with no subscription. Right now there is a founder deal where All Apps, covering every current and future app, costs $25 once and is limited to the first 50 buyers. After that, All Apps is priced higher or by subscription.

Do the apps need an account?

No. You get a license key by email and paste it into the app. An account on the website is only used for invoices, devices, and roadmap votes.

How many computers can I use a license on?

Each purchase covers up to 2 computers. You can move a license to a new computer from your account.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Every purchase can be refunded within 15 days.

Do the apps collect my data or upload my files?

No. The apps have no account, never send your files, and use no analytics. Each app also lists every server it can contact.

Is there a Windows version?

Not yet. Deskworthy is Mac first, and Windows is coming soon.

Are there free alternatives?
